This page describes and shows the procedure for connecting an existing Telegram bot to Hotline CRM. After connecting, you can start working as a team on the side of the topic group (how to create a topic group in Telegram).
The system can be connected to a new bot or to any existing one, including parallel mode (bot token is sent Hotline, while other bot sessions are not disabled). In addition to bots Hotline also allows connecting user accounts to the topic group.

The procedure for connecting your bot to a topic group through the installation bot of the system Hotline extremely simple:

Press the New Connection button, then select Connect Bot

Send the token of the connected bot as a text message (the token is taken in @botfather)

Select or create a new topic group using the button Choose Group (if the group exists, you must be the owner of it or have the right to add administrators)

Test the connection by sending a message to your bot (it should send an automatic response)

Complete the connection, after which you can proceed to the Welcome settings and other options
